CREATING A MORE EQUITABLE FUTURE FOR ARTISTS

Asheville Print Company (APCO) is a community-driven arts platform that uplifts Asheville and Western North Carolina-based artists by providing equitable access to the art market. Our mission is to support both emerging and established local artists by returning the majority of each sale directly to them, after covering only production costs and a minimal 10% service fee from our parent company, Dot Editions.

By connecting the region’s vibrant creative talent with both the reemerging tourist economy and the local community, APCO fosters cultural visibility, economic opportunity, and long-term sustainability for artists. We are building a new model for art commerce, one that is rooted in equity, access, and the authentic spirit of Asheville.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Artists submit files or work with Dot Editions to create them

  2. Orders are printed, packaged, and shipped directly to buyers

  3. Artists set their own prices and retain 90% of each sale

  4. From that, they pay the base production cost (same as studio pricing)

  5. A&P keeps 10% to cover operations, support, and payment processing

  6. No hidden fees. No markup. No inventory required.
